Arrival in Saigon.
After the formalities , you will be greeted by our team (French-speaking tour guide and driver) and transferred to the hotel.

Depending on your arrival time, you will make your first discoveries in the western quarter with the main post office built by Gustave Eiffel in the purest French style, the Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Grand Theatre and the town hall with its original French architecture.

Welcome dinner at a local restaurant and overnight stay in Saigon.

Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon) is often compared to traditional Hanoi, as this economic metropolis embodies Vietnamese modernity and the hope of overcoming the country's economic fallout after the various wars. Located in the heart of Cochinchina, in the Mekong Delta, it is also the largest city with a population of over 14 million.

Saigon – Cu Chi Tunnels / Sightseeing and Discoveries – Saigon / Sightseeing (F,M)

Breakfast.
Meeting point at 8:00 AM for departure to the Cu Chi Tunnels . Known as the "Iron Triangle" and later as the "Free Firing Zone," these tunnels allowed communication between Viet Cong-controlled areas, even when isolated in American or South Vietnamese territory. They also served as shelter for the civilian population during air raids. The Viet Cong soldiers lived there under extremely difficult conditions and are living testaments to Vietnamese patriotism.

Lunch at a local restaurant, then return to Saigon.

Arrival in Saigon,
visit the Chinatown (Cho Lon): the Thien Hau Pagoda, the Binh Tay wholesale market, and the medicinal herb streets.
Dinner at leisure in the city and overnight stay at a hotel in Saigon.

Saigon – Mekong (Ben Tre) / Excursion and sightseeing (B,L,D)

Breakfast.
Meeting point at 8:00 am for departure to the Mekong Delta , to the Ben Tre region, the land of coconut palms.

Walks and photos in the rice paddies as far as the eye can see. Photos and local activities.

Take a ride in a small sampan into the small arroyos to take photos in the shade of the water palms.

You will participate in many activities in this region to discover local life, and tonight you will sleep in a typical southern house. You will all be accommodated together in one room with single or double beds in Vietnamese style.

In southern Vietnam, the Mekong River splits into nine major tributaries, forming a delta stretching over 100 kilometers. The humid, annually flooded land supports a lush and diverse vegetation. The vast delta can be explored by visiting various sites, walking along the rivers and canals, exploring islands, discovering local life, and above all… by visiting the floating markets.
Meals and overnight stays are with local families.

Ben Tre – Mekong / Excursion – Sadec / Sightseeing – Long Xuyen (F,M,A)

Breakfast.
Meeting point at 8:00 am for departure for walks and the discovery of this region with activities at the local market to meet the people.

Fahrt nach Cai Be, Besuch des Cao Dai Tempels. Spaziergang und Fotos auf den Inseln, dann Besuch des schwimmenden Marktes von Cai Be. Long Xuyen / schwimmender Markt – Chau Doc / Besichtigungen (F,M)

Frühstück
Treffpunkt um 08:00 Uhr, um den typischen schwimmenden Markt von Long Xuyen auf dem Mekong zu besuchen. Besuch dieses wunderschönen schwimmenden Marktes (der authentischste des Mekong, weniger touristisch als die anderen).

Mittagessen in einem lokalen Restaurant in Long Xuyen, bevor die Fahrt nach Chau Doc entlang des Mekong fortgesetzt wird, mit geplanten Fotostopps.

Ankunft in Chau Doc
Sie besichtigen die Ba Chua Xu Pagode und den Berg Sam, um Fotos zu machen.
Abendessen zur freien Verfügung und Übernachtung in Chau Doc.

Chau Doc / Ausflug zum schwimmenden Dorf – Ha Tien / Besichtigungen (F,M)

Frühstück
Treffpunkt um 08:00 Uhr für eine schöne Sampan-Fahrt, um ein schwimmendes Dorf auf dem Mekong zu besuchen, um das Leben auf dem Wasser und die Aktivitäten der Mekong-Fischer besser kennenzulernen.

Mittagessen in einem lokalen Restaurant, dann Fahrt nach Ha Tien.

Ankunft in Ha Tien,
Sie besichtigen die Thach Dong Höhle, die Chau Hang Pagode und den Berg Đá Dựng. Freizeit am Strand für den Sonnenuntergang.

Abendessen zur freien Verfügung und Übernachtung in Ha Tien.

Ha Tien / Spaziergänge – Rach Gia (F,M)

Frühstück
Treffpunkt um 08:00 Uhr zur Abfahrt für eine Kreuzfahrt in der Bucht von Ha Tien mit einem traditionellen Sampan-Boot, um die kleine Bucht von Hon Chong und die Bucht von Hon Phu Tu zu sehen (Fotostopps).
Das Boot bringt Sie zur Pirateninsel (Đảo Hải Tặc auf Vietnamesisch).

Rückkehr in die Stadt Ha Tien, dann Fahrt nach Rach Gia, einer wichtigen Provinz des Mekong.

Abendessen zur freien Verfügung und Übernachtung in Rach Gia.

Rach Gia / Besichtigungen – Soc Trang / Besichtigungen – Can Tho (F,M)

Frühstück
Treffpunkt um 08:00 Uhr zur Entdeckung des Marktes von Rach Gia im Stadtzentrum, bevor die Fahrt nach Can Tho fortgesetzt wird, mit Besuchen schöner Khmer-Pagoden entlang der Straße.

Besuch der Fledermauspagode in Soc Trang.

Upon arrival in Can Tho,
you'll have the opportunity to take photos in the exotic gardens and admire the sunset. Direct transfer to your hosts for relaxation.

Lunch at a local restaurant. Dinner at your leisure and overnight stay in a bungalow on the outskirts of town.

They sleep and eat with locals in bungalows on the riverbank, on the outskirts of Can Tho, in order to better enjoy nature and take photos.

Can Tho / Floating Market – Saigon (F,M)

Breakfast.
Meet at 8:00 am for departure by sampan to visit and discover the Cai Rang floating market , one of the most authentic markets of the Mekong with its vibrancy and local trade.

Walks and exploration of the old house Huynh Thuy Le , then a visit to Mr. Bay Cong's ecological garden. Lunch at a local restaurant.

Return to Saigon by land.
Arrival in Saigon and direct transfer to the hotel for rest.

Dinner at your leisure and overnight stay in Saigon.

Saigon at leisure – Departure (F)

Breakfast at the hotel,
followed by a free day. Check-out around noon.
Meet your driver (no tour guide) for transfer to the airport for your return flight.
