We have carefully selected the ship ' Le Cochinchine ' for this cruise.

The ship "Le Cochinchine" was built in the style of the traditional rice transport boats that ply the Mekong Delta. It has two decks: a main deck and an upper deck (75m²) offering breathtaking views of the Mekong and its river activities. Each cabin has a private bathroom with a hot water shower and air conditioning.

1 Sai Gon – Mekong / Cruise and excursion in the Cai Be area – My Thuan – Sa Dec – Cai Be (M,A)

Meeting point at your hotel around 8:00 am:
Departure without a tour guide to the Mekong Delta.

10:30-11:00 AM: Arrival at the Cai Be pier . We board our large boat, where a welcome drink awaits us, and then check into our cabin.

Disembarkation on Cai Thia Island for a walk or bike ride through the villages, bordered by lush orchards and rice fields .

Return on board for lunch as our boat continues its cruise to Sa Dec , a charming town on the Tien River.

Upon arrival, we will visit the brickworks at the village entrance; we will continue to the lively market of Sa Dec and then visit the old house of Huynh Thuy Le – the house of the “lover” of Marguerite Duras , as well as the Trung Vuong Primary School , which was founded at the beginning of the 20th century by the mother of the French writer.

In the heart of the village of Sa Dec we discover a Cao Dai temple and the beautiful bonsai and flower garden.

Return to our boat for a total relaxation session with a foot massage while watching the sunset over the Mekong River .

Dinner and overnight stay on board in Cai Be.

2 Cai Be / Cruise to Mang Thit and Tra On (F,M,A)

Getting up early offers the immense advantage of watching the sunrise over the romantic river before having breakfast on board!

Then we'll take a junk boat to visit the Cai Be floating market , a mythical place on the river...

We return to land to discover a magnificent traditional house, a former imperial residence . The descendants of the Kiet family open their doors to show us the sublime interior and allow us to explore the garden with its countless fruit trees . We are offered tea, accompanied by a delicious selection of tropical fruits.

We continue on to the craft villages where products made from rice and coconut are produced: rice wine, blown rice cakes, rice paper, sweets with coconut milk…

Return to the boat, lunch on board while the boat slowly travels along this part of the Mekong, which is called Co Chien .

In the afternoon , a walk or bike ride on the side roads allows us to discover orchards, river activities and, above all, contact with the local population .

The boat continues towards Tra On . The aperitif offered on the upper deck adds to the magic of the sunset over a magnificent landscape.

Participation in a cooking class that gives us the opportunity to test the preparation of this typical Mekong Delta recipe: “ Pumpkin blossom stuffed with Mekong fish ”.

Dinner and overnight stay on board.

3 Tra On / Cruise to Can Tho / Cai Rang floating market and return to Saigon (F)

Breakfast on board.

Transfer by local boat to visit the Cai Rang market, one of the region's most important floating markets, teeming with boats and small watercraft zigzagging on the busy waters.

We then drive along bays shaded by fruit trees and palm trees, ending in an orchard full of all kinds of fruit: mango, star apple, papaya, dragon fruit, water coconut…

Return to the boat for final disembarkation at 11:00 AM.
The car will be waiting for you and will take you to Saigon,
arriving around 4:00 PM, followed by a transfer to your hotel for free time.
