Hanoi - Thac Ba Lake / Walks and sightseeing (M,A)

Meet at 8:00 am at your hotel (if you are already in Hanoi) with our driver and tour guide for departure to Thac Ba Lake (180 km or 4 hour drive).

Sightseeing and photo stops are planned along the route. Lunch will be at a local restaurant en route.

Arrival at the lake, a cruise across the lake through the islands to visit small villages inhabited by Tay and Yao peoples. More than 300 islands and islets of red earth, some covered with carpets of grass and bushes, others with forests, rise from these waters.

Dinner and overnight stay with locals in the village of Vu Linh (Dzao ethnic group).

Thac Ba / Walks - Bac Ha / Walks and sightseeing (F,M,A)

Breakfast.
Meeting point at 8:00 am with the team for a pleasant walk and visit to the surrounding villages , then we drive via Pho Rang and the old Route 70 to Bac Ha. Sightseeing and photo stops along the way.

Lunch at a local restaurant and arrival in Bac Ha, a walk through the village of Ban Pho before spending the night with locals. Dinner and overnight stay with locals.

Bac Ha / Ethnic Market (depending on the day) - Y Ty (Homestay) (F,M,A)

Breakfast.
Meeting point with the tour guide to visit the ethnic market Bac Ha , which only takes place once a week on Sundays and is undoubtedly one of the two most beautiful markets.

If it is not a Sunday, we can visit one of the ethnic markets – fairs – as follows:

  • Monday morning: Ban Phiet Market
  • Tuesday morning: Coc Ly Market
  • Wednesday morning: Cao Son Market
  • Thursday morning: Lung Khau Nhin Market
  • Friday morning: Cho Dau Market
  • Saturday morning: Can Cau Market
  • Sunday morning: Bac Ha market

Lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, drive to Sapa with visits to villages and tea hills, as well as the border gate.

Arrival in Y Ty, walks and explorations in the ethnic villages, and a visit to the Ha Nhi village, where people live in their traditional mud houses.
Dinner and overnight stay in a homestay in Y Ty.

Y Ty / Photos - Fansipan / Walks and Discoveries – Sapa (F,M,A)

After breakfast,
meet at 8:00 am with the tour guide for a day exploring Mount Fansipan at 3143 m altitude.

After lunch, you'll travel to the Muong Hoa Valley, passing through the villages of Lao Chai (the colorful Hmong) and Ta Van (the Dao). Stretching along the Hoang Lien Son mountain range, the valley promises unique photo opportunities: rice terraces that appear like sculptural masterpieces on earth, simple houses perched atop hills, and paths winding from one village to the next. In this valley, you'll enjoy a more pleasant and surprising hike and encounter members of numerous ethnic groups: H'Mong, Giay, Dao, and others.

Dinner at your leisure and overnight stay in a hotel in the town of Sapa.

Sapa / Walks and sightseeing – Hanoi via the highway (F,M)

Breakfast.
Meet at 8:00 AM with your guide and driver for a pleasant walk to Cat Cat village , before visiting Sapa's central market. Lunch at a local restaurant and return to Hanoi via the highway.

Arrival in Hanoi, direct transfer to the hotel.

From this day forward, extensions for walks and explorations to other places in Sapa are possible: Fansipan Mountain at 3134 m altitude, the villages in the Muong Hoa Valley, or an extension to the rice fields of Mu Cang Chai and Tu Le.
