Hanoi - Arrival / Free time (A)

Arrival at Hanoi Airport. Meet your tour guide and driver, then transfer to the city center where you will check into your hotel.

The rest of the day is at your leisure. Welcome dinner at a restaurant in town .

Hanoi – City tour (F/M/A)

A day to thoroughly explore Vietnam's capital city , which exudes timeless charm. We begin with a visit to the fascinating Ethnographic Museum , which displays costumes, tools, musical instruments, and typical houses of Vietnam's 54 ethnic groups (closed on Mondays).

Next, we will visit the Temple of Literature , the "first university of Vietnam," and the oldest pagoda in Hanoi: Tran Quoc . We will also visit the Ngoc Son Temple on the shore of central Hoan Kiem Lake .

A walk through the alleys of Hanoi's Old Quarter allows you to get to know the local life of the capital city.

In the evening: Water puppet theater .

Hanoi - Mai Chau (F/M/A)

Early departure for Mai Chau via a beautiful mountain road. Arrival in the village of Van , inhabited by White Thais, the representative ethnic group of the region, and meeting with Mr. Cuong's family, who will warmly welcome you.

After a break, take a walk through the village to get a panoramic view of local life . You can also learn to weave silk on an old loom.

The entire afternoon is dedicated to exploring the daily lives of the residents.

Dinner with the locals . In the evening, a folkloric dance and music performance. Tasting of straw wine (called "Can") made from fermented rice!

Overnight stay with locals in a stilt house in the village of Van .

Mai Chau - Tam Coc (Dry Halong Bay) (B/L/D)

In the morning, after breakfast with locals , you will travel from Mai Chau to Ninh Binh via Nho Quan. Arrival in Tam Coc (the location where scenes from the film Indochine were filmed) is expected in the late morning.

Lunch at a local restaurant .

In the afternoon, a bamboo boat will take you on an unforgettable two-hour journey through a natural landscape of karst mountains that tower over a sublime expanse of water. You will also discover that the region is dotted with caves—a spectacle that is both awe-inspiring and relaxing. The tour continues with a visit to two 11th-century temples dedicated to Kings Dinh and Le. The surroundings are enchanting and idyllic!

Tam Coc - Maritime Halong Bay (B/L/D)

Around 8:00 a.m. we drive towards Halong Bay (Vinh Ha Long). The road reveals a landscape dominated by rice paddies.

Arrival in Halong and immediate embarkation on our junk to explore the bay. We will visit caves during the cruise.

Seafood meals served by our excellent team .

A sweet night aboard our comfortable junk in private cabins.

Halong Bay - Hanoi (F/M/A)

Besuch des Fischerdorfes oder der Luon-Höhle, bevor die Kreuzfahrt in der Halong-Bucht inmitten der unzähligen Inselchen fortgesetzt wird. Gegen 11:30 Uhr Rückkehr zum Anleger und Fahrt nach Hanoi.

Unterwegs Besuch des Keramikdorfes Phu Lang in Bac Ninh.

Ankunft in Hanoi am Nachmittag. Übernachtung im Hotel in Hanoi.

Hanoi - Luang Prabang (Laos) (F/M/A)

Frühstück im Hotel, anschließend Transfer zum Flughafen für den Morgenflug nach Luang Prabang, der ehemaligen und ersten Hauptstadt des Königreichs Lane Xang und auch dem Zentrum des religiösen Lebens der Laoten.

Die Stadt ist ein Zauber und eine Oase der Ruhe, akzentuiert durch ihre halbkoloniale Architektur, die umgebende tropische Vegetation und ihre extreme Trägheit... Besuch der schönsten Tempel der Stadt und der Umgebung (Wat Visoun, Wat Aham, Wat Xiengthong, Phousi Hill…).

Luang Prabang - Pak Ou - Luang Prabang (F/M/A)

Bootsausflug flussaufwärts auf dem Mekong zum Besuch der Pak Ou-Höhle. Halt im Dorf Ban Muangkeo, berühmt für seinen Reiswhisky namens Lao-Lao.

Mittagessen in einem Restaurant am Flussufer.

Rückkehr nach Luang Prabang am Nachmittag, Besuch des Dorfes Ban Xangkhong, spezialisiert auf Papier- und Seidenproduktion.

Luang Prabang - Kuang Si Wasserfall - Luang Prabang (F/M/A)

Abfahrt zum Kuang Si Wasserfall, inmitten üppiger Vegetation. Unterwegs Halt zum Besuch des Obstmarktes von Talad Phosy, des Dorfes Ban Na Oune, bewohnt von Hmong, und Ban Tha Pane von Kh'mu.

Picknick-Mittagessen in der Nähe des Kuang Xi Wasserfalls.

Erholung in der Natur. Bademöglichkeiten im (ziemlich frischen) Wasser. Rückkehr nach Luang Prabang und Besuch des ethnischen Nachtmarktes.

Luang Prabang - Siem Reap (Kambodscha) (F/M/A)

Am Morgen Transfer zum Flughafen von Luang Prabang für den Flug nach Siem Reap, der ehemaligen Hauptstadt Kambodschas, wo wir das unschätzbare Erbe des Khmer-Reiches entdecken werden: die Tempel der Roluos-Gruppe (9. Jahrhundert), das alte Hari Haralaya, das erste Angkor, etwa 20 km südöstlich von Siem Reap.

Apsara-Abendessen im lokalen Restaurant.

Siem Reap - Angkor Thom - Angkor Wat – Siem Reap (F/M/A)

Am Morgen Besuch von Angkor Thom (Große Stadt), beginnend mit dem Südportal, dem berühmten Bayon aus dem 12. & 13. Jahrhundert, Baphuon (11. Jh.), dem Brahmanismus gewidmet, der Elefantenterrasse, der Terrasse des Leprakönigs, Phimean Akas (himmlischer Palast).

Am Nachmittag entdecken Sie den wunderbaren Tempel von Angkor Wat, der zum Weltkulturerbe gehört, und Phnom Bakheng (Bergtempel).

Siem Reap - Kleiner Rundgang - Großer Rundgang – Siem Reap (F/M/A)

Frühstück, Besuch der Tempel der „Kleinen Rundgang“-Gruppe: Ta Prohm, wo riesige Bäume das Kloster dominieren und die Ruinen mit ihren beeindruckenden Wurzeln wie riesige Kraken mit ihren Tentakeln umklammern, um ihre Beute zu halten.

Weiter geht es mit dem Besuch von Thommanon, Chau Say Teveda, Ta Keo, Banteay Kdei und der Terrasse von Sras Srang. 

Mittagessen im lokalen Restaurant.

Am Nachmittag Besuch der Stätten des östlichen Baray des „Großen Rundgangs“: Pre Rup, Mebon, Tasom, Neak Pean, Prah Khan.

Siem Reap – Phnom Penh (F/M/A)

Fahrt in Richtung Kompong Thom und direkter Transfer nach Sambo Prey Kuh, der ehemaligen Hauptstadt vor Angkor. Es handelt sich um eine Gruppe von Tempeln, die im Wald verstreut sind.

Mittagessen in Kompong Thom.

Anschließend Fahrt nach Phnom Penh, unterwegs Besuch von Steinmetzwerkstätten und des Tempels von Kuha Nokor.

Ankunft am späten Nachmittag.

Phnom Penh - Chau Doc (F/M/A)

Am Morgen Besuch von Phnom Penh mit dem Königspalast, der Silberpagode, dem Nationalmuseum, Wat Phnom.

Am Nachmittag nehmen Sie das Schnellboot nach Chau Doc (Südvietnam), wo Sie am späten Nachmittag ankommen. Empfang in Chau Doc durch den lokalen vietnamesischen Reiseleiter und Transfer zum Hotel.

Chau Doc – Can Tho (F/M/A)

Am Morgen fahren Sie zu einem Dorf, das für die Fischzucht unter den Häusern bekannt ist. Die Fische befinden sich in Käfigen, die unter schwimmenden Häusern auf dem Fluss hängen.

Weiterfahrt mit dem Besuch der Häuser der Cham-Minderheiten. Besuch des Berges Sam und Bewunderung der Schluchten an der Grenze zu Kambodscha.

Am Nachmittag Fahrt nach Can Tho, der Metropole des Mekong-Deltas.

Can Tho - Saigon (F/M/A)

Early in the morning, we take a boat to visit the Cai Rang floating market , the largest and busiest in the Mekong Delta . The setting is beautiful: hundreds of motorized sampans, filled with rice, fruit, and handicrafts, gather here to trade and sell. We leave the market and then visit the old house of Binh Thuy .

On the way back to Saigon, we stop in Long An to visit the mat-making village of Long Dinh . Return to Saigon.

Saigon – City tour (F/M/A)

On this day we will take a comprehensive city tour . We will begin in the Cho Lon district and discover its old quarters, its market, the Thien Hau Temple and the Giac Lam Pagoda, one of the oldest pagodas in the city, whose architecture, layout and decoration have remained almost intact since its construction in 1744!

Return to the city center to visit the cathedral and the main post office .

In the afternoon we will visit the Independence Palace and end the day at the Ben Thanh Market.

Saigon – Shopping / Departure (F)

Free time for your shopping or your own exploration of the city before the transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for your departure.
