Arrival at Noi Bai, Hanoi's airport. Your tour guide will meet you there and then take you to the city center for your first steps in this city with a thousand-year history.

Your arrival time determines whether you visit various sights or stroll through the old quarter of Hanoi to come into direct contact with the daily life of the Hanoians.

Transfer and check-in at the hotel, then free time. Welcome dinner and overnight stay in Hanoi.

Hanoi – City tour (F/M/A)

After breakfast, a day full of sightseeing and walks awaits!
Start with the grounds of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum at Ba Dinh Square and then head to the stilt house that housed this great man whose life was very modest.

A landmark of Hanoi, the One Pillar Pagoda is visited for its unique architecture and cherished for its 11th-century legend. If
you'd like to escape the city's hustle and bustle, head to the Temple of Literature, dedicated to Confucius and his disciples. This venerable university was the first to be established and educated generations of scholars and officials until 1915!

To learn about and become familiar with the 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam, you should visit the Ethnographic Museum, the largest and most comprehensive museum.

How about trying an unusual mode of transport? A rickshaw ride through the old town and its small shopping streets allows you to discover the most important sights of the Vietnamese capital.

At the end of the day, you can find some peace and quiet in the Jade Temple, located in the middle of the Lake of the Returned Sword. The temple's giant turtle might even tell you the legend surrounding the secrets of this favorite spot for Hanoians.

In the evening, enjoy a water puppet show, a Vietnamese folk art form. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight stay at the hotel.

Hanoi – Mai Chau – Pom Coong Villages – Ban Lac (B/L/D)

Meet our French-speaking guide team and driver for departure to the Mai Chau Valley, including a visit to the beautiful Master Pagoda.

Please pack small, practical bags (containing mosquito repellent, sunscreen, sunglasses, and light raincoats) for the 5 days of trekking and leave your large suitcases at the hotel.
Lunch will be at a local restaurant, and there will be photo stops along the way to Mai Chau.

Arrival in the Mai Chau Valley, walk through the villages around Pom Coong, Ban Lac 1 and 2 to gain the first impressions of life in these ethnic villages.

Dinner and overnight stay with the White Thai ethnic group

Mai Chau – Trekking to the village of Hieu (F/M/A) ~ 5 hours hike

Breakfast with the host family, then departure for the village of Hieu. Expect a 5-hour trek through other ethnic villages of the White Thai and the H'mong.

Lunch in Pho Doan before continuing the trek to Hieu village, walking and exploring this village to appreciate daily life.

Dinner and overnight stay with the host family

Villages Hieu and Hin (F/M/A) ~ 5 hours hike

Frühstück bei der Gastfamilie, dann Beginn eines Tages der Erkundung von Dörfern, in denen die Zeit kaum Spuren hinterlassen zu haben scheint. Begegnung mit Dorfbewohnern bei ihren täglichen Aktivitäten, wie der Arbeit auf den Feldern oder der Büffelzucht.

Picknick-Mittagessen unterwegs

Am Nachmittag erreichen Sie das Dorf Hin, Spaziergang durch das Dorf oder Erholung

Abendessen und Übernachtung in einem Stelzenhaus bei der Thai-Ethnie.

Dörfer Hin und Kho Muong (F/M/A) ~ 4-5 Stunden Wanderung

Frühstück bei der Gastfamilie, dann nach einiger Gehzeit durchqueren wir ein weiteres sehr tief eingeschnittenes Tal, das uns zum charmanten Dorf Pon führt, und dann geht es weiter zum Dorf Kho Muong.

Mittagessen unterwegs, dann Wanderung durch eine Landschaft mit wunderschönen Berglandschaften, Pause, bevor wir die Zubereitung des Essens beobachten und vielleicht sogar daran teilnehmen.

Abendessen und Übernachtung bei der Gastfamilie im Thai-Dorf.

Dörfer Kho Muong – Hang – Pu Luong (F/M/A) ~ 4-5 Stunden Wanderung

Frühstück bei der Gastfamilie, Abfahrt um 8 Uhr vom Dorf Ban Hang in Richtung des Dorfes PaKhaen entlang des Flusses Pung.
Ein wunderschöner Wandertag in diesem herrlichen Tal abseits der Touristenrouten, ideal für Begegnungen mit den Dorfbewohnern der Thai-Ethnie, die vom Morgenmarkt zurückkehren. Picknick-Mittagessen oder bei der Gastfamilie

Am Nachmittag geht es in Richtung des Dorfes Hang, das sich mitten im Pu Luong Park befindet.

Unterkunft bei der Gastfamilie: Schlafsaal-Stil, einfacher Komfort

Pu Luong – Spaziergänge – Hanoi (F/M/A) ~ 3 Stunden Wanderung

Frühstück bei der Gastfamilie und dann 3 Stunden Spaziergänge im Park, danach Mittagessen bei der Gastfamilie im Dorf Hang.
Am Nachmittag fahren wir zurück nach Hanoi.
Ankunft in Hanoi, direkter Transfer zum Hotel für eine wohlverdiente Ruhepause

Hanoi - Hon Gai – Bai Tu Long – Thien Canh Son - Cong Do (F/M/A)

7:45 AM: Departure for Halong City – who hasn't heard of it? Forget everything you've read, it's even more beautiful!
12:00 – 12:15 PM: Arrival at the Hon Gai (Vinashin) pier . Relax at the Phu Dong Restaurant while you wait to board the junk.
12:30 PM: Boarding the junk and welcome drink. Check into your cabin. 
1:30 – 2:30 PM: Lunch on board the junk as it cruises through the stunning scenery of magical Halong Bay .
3:00 PM: We reach the hidden Thien Canh Son cave in Bai Tu Long Bay , also known as Co Cave . Time to relax.
4:00 PM: Return to the junk. Enjoy a cup of tea before canoeing or kayaking . 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM: A short cooking class led by the junk's cook. Learn all about spring rolls and how to cut fruit and flowers to decorate your dishes. Admire the beautiful scenery of the bay at dusk.
7:30 PM: A barbecue dinner is served on board the junk.
9:00 PM: Time to relax : movie, games, night fishing. Enjoy the beauty of Bai Tu Long Bay in the evening.

Continuation of the excursion – Cong Do – Vung Vieng fishing village – Hanoi (F/M)

6:30 AM: You wake up in the middle of the bay to a Tai Chi class on deck.
7:00 AM: Breakfast in the restaurant while admiring the sunrise over the bay. 7:45 AM: We visit the inhabitants of the floating village of Vung Vieng
by bamboo sampan . Discover fish farming. 9:00 AM: Return to the junk. 9:30 AM: Time to check out. 10:00-11:00 AM: Lunch is served on board. 11:30 AM: Time to say goodbye to the junk crew. 12:30 PM: Arrival in Hanoi in the late afternoon.

After collecting your luggage, you will be transferred directly to the airport for your return flight.
