According to legend, the Two Trưng Ladies wore two-panel golden áo dài, with golden parasols, on elephant-back in battles. Afterwards, to honor them, Vietnamese women avoid wearing four-panel dresses instead of two.

Mein Name ist Thanh (Emile)…
Ich bin vietnamesischer Herkunft und lebe seit 1976 in Frankreich, wo ich im Alter von 13 Jahren ankam.
Heute bin ich verheiratet, Vater von drei Kindern… und vor allem ein glücklicher Großvater von vier Enkelkindern.
Ich lebe in Charente-Maritime, aber ein Teil meines Herzens ist immer in Vietnam geblieben…
Meine Rückkehr in die Heimat im Jahr 2012 war ein zutiefst bewegender Moment… fast eine Wiederentdeckung meiner Wurzeln.
Seitdem kehre ich regelmäßig dorthin zurück (2014, 2015, 2017, 2019, 2023, …) immer mit der gleichen Freude… und der gleichen Emotion.
Im Laufe der Jahre habe ich Vietnam von Nord nach Süd bereist, über das Zentrum und das Hochland…, nach Kambodscha und Laos, ….und ich hatte das Glück, mehrere Reisen für Verwandte und Freunde zu organisieren.
Heute möchte ich Sie mit Aufrichtigkeit und Leidenschaft auf Ihrer Reise begleiten… um Ihnen zu helfen, eine authentische, einfache… und unvergessliche Reise zu erleben.

The Caodaism
The word Caodaism comes from Cao-Dài, the literal translation of which is: Supreme Palace. This double term is found in the most ancient Buddhist prayers. This indicates the main origin of this religion, which is primarily, as we will see, that of renovated Buddhism.

The city of Luang Prabang
Luang Prabang is a city in northern Laos, the current capital of Luang Prabang Province. Luang Prabang was formally the royal capital of Lan Xang (Kingdom of a Million Elephants) from the 14th century to 1946. The effective capital was Vientiane from 1563, then, after the separation of the Kingdom of Luang Prabang and the Kingdom of Vientiane in 1707, the title of capital of Lan Xang was disputed between the two cities.
