Designed and built in the style of traditional boats that have sailed in Indochina for centuries, the Song Xanh is the ideal boat for an intimate and relaxing excursion. On board, two spacious 15 m² areas are furnished with rattan furniture, creating an intimate and relaxing atmosphere.

1 Saigon - Mekong / cruise from Cai Be to Phu An - Don Hoa Hiep/ Vinh Long/ Sa Dec - Can Tho (L,D)

Meet around 08:00 AM at your hotel in Saigon.
Departure for Cai Be.

Arrival around 10:00 AM, we meet at Phu An private pier, a small typical delta village located about two hours drive south of Saigon. Our crew will welcome you with a welcome drink and you will settle on board, and our 2-day and 1-night excursion will begin.

Cai Be

Optional visit to a local craft village (coconut candy, puffed rice, rice paste, longan drying). Head to Dong Hoa Hiep district and Sa Dec city. The sampan sails through a beautiful canal where you can see some water hyacinth plantations used for furniture making. Between Cai Be and Sa Dec, you cannot miss the My Thuan bridge (1,535m long) which overlooks the Mekong.

Visit a brick factory located along the banks of the Mekong.

Sa Dec

Nicknamed "the little Oriental Venice" due to its many canals, the city of Sa Dec was made famous by the writer Marguerite Duras and her novel "The Lover". In fact, we visit the house of Huynh Thuy Le, a wealthy Vietnamese businessman of Chinese origin and lover of the famous novelist. The city is also renowned for its flowers and bonsai.

A walk or bike ride will allow us to observe rural activity in the rice fields and fish farms. We see many French houses and temples dating from the last century.

Return to the boat for lunch.

Head to Can Tho. Visit the Cao Dai temple (Caodaism religion) and an old house dating from the early 19th century, where a candlelit dinner awaits us.

After dinner, the cruise continues for an hour to get closer to Can Tho.

Overnight on board the Song Xanh.

2 Can Tho / Cai Rang floating market, visits and disembarkation and return journey to Saigon (B,L)

A good breakfast is served on board around 07:00 AM,

Then, visit the Cai Rang floating market, which gathers a large number of sampans loaded with fruits, vegetables, handicrafts, etc. It is probably the most lively floating market in Vietnam.

Stroll through the canals under the shade of coconut trees. We will discover stilt houses and cross tropical fruit orchards.

Our cruise ends around 10:00 AM at Ninh Kieu pier after a visit to the local market of Can Tho.

Return journey to Saigon by private car.
Transfer to your hotel in Saigon.
