1 Quang Binh Arrival – Chay Lap (L,D)

Arrival in Quang Binh, either:

from Hanoi by plane or train, or
from Saigon by plane.

Welcome by the local team (English-speaking guide + driver with private vehicle), followed by a direct transfer to Quang Binh city center for the first visits: the ancient Quang Binh Citadel, Nhat Le Beach, and the central market.

We then continue along part of the Ho Chi Minh Trail towards the Phong Nha – Ke Bang region, a mountainous area recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, famous for its spectacular underground cave system.

Lunch at a local restaurant featuring typical and authentic regional flavors.

Enjoy a sampan ride along the Phong Nha River to enter the Phong Nha – Ke Bang caves. Visit this magnificent cave before cruising back and transferring to Chay Lap Village, where you will explore the village by bicycle and observe local people at work.

Dinner and overnight at the homestay.

2 Chay Lap (B,L,D)

Breakfast then depart for a full day of discoveries and visits in this region, known for its numerous caves and beautiful landscapes.

Visit Thien Duong Cave, discovered relatively recently and only opened to visitors in recent years.

Optional:
For adventurous travelers wishing to explore deeper inside the cave, registration is required at least one day in advance to allow for the necessary preparations, including a specialized guide, headlamps, boots, life jackets, kayak and safety equipment.

Continue to Song Chay – Hang Toi for lunch at a local restaurant featuring typical dishes from the region.

After lunch, enjoy the adventure activities and fitness courses available on site: zip-line, swimming or kayaking on the Song Chay River. There is something for everyone.

Enjoy an unforgettable natural mud bath inside the cave, a fun and relaxing experience to help relieve stress and fatigue.

After leaving the cave, continue the adventure with highwire activities, swimming in the Song Chay River, or zip-lining.

Continue with a visit to the beautiful Suoi Mooc Ecological Garden, home to a variety of flowers and rich natural surroundings, with small streams and peaceful spots ideal for relaxing and taking photos.

Return to Chay Lap for rest.

Dinner and overnight at the homestay.

3 Chay Lap – Quang Tri – Thanh Tan (B,L)

Breakfast.

Then, depart for Hue, passing through the historic 17th Parallel, an important site related to the American War from 1955 to 1975.

Before crossing the 17th Parallel, visit the Vinh Moc underground village, which offers insight into life during the war in Vietnam.

Continue across the bridge linking the two banks of the Ben Hai River, which served as the temporary dividing line between North and South Vietnam for 21 years. Visit the museum and flag tower.

Lunch at a local restaurant in Quang Tri with local specialties.

In the afternoon, visit the ancient Quang Tri Citadel, where a major memorial was built in honor of those who died during the struggle for national liberation.

Continue towards the Thanh Tan area in the countryside, around 40 km north of Hue city center. This region is well known for its network of mineral springs and hot springs, valued for their therapeutic properties.

Upon arrival, free time to relax, explore the surroundings or enjoy a hot spring bath.

Dinner at your own expense and overnight at Alba Hot Spring Resort.

4 Thanh Tan – Hue (B,L)

Breakfast

Enjoy free time for your own exploration or take advantage of the morning for adventure activities such as zip-lining or highwire.

Check out, then drive to Hue city center.

Board a boat for a cruise along the Perfume River, with lunch served on board.

At the end of the cruise, visit Thien Mu Pagoda, followed by a visit to the Imperial City of Hue, composed of three main enclosures: the Citadel, the Imperial City and the Forbidden Purple City.

Dinner at your own expense and overnight in Hue.

5 Hue – Hai Van Pass – Hoi An (B,L)

Breakfast

Then, visit a Luc Bo monument, referring to the Six Ministries system developed under imperial China and later adopted in Vietnam, followed by a discovery of traditional craft villages around Hue.

Continue to the outskirts of Hue for a bicycle ride through Thuy Bieu Village, followed by lunch at a local family home.

In the afternoon, drive to Hoi An via Hai Van Pass, with photo stops along the way and at the top of the pass.

Arrival in Hoi An.

Direct transfer to the hotel for rest.

Dinner at your own expense and overnight in Hoi An.

6 Hoi An – Da Nang – Departure (B,L)

Breakfast.

Depart for a ride in a traditional basket boat on the Hoai River, followed by a bicycle ride through the countryside surrounding Hoi An.

Relax with a 15-minute foot massage, then join a cooking class followed by lunch at a local family home.

In the afternoon, return to the town center to visit the must-see attractions of Hoi An.

Meet your driver for the transfer to Danang Airport for your flight either to Hanoi or Saigon.
