Hanoi - Arrival / Free (D)

Arrival at Hanoi airport. Greeted by the guide and driver, then transfer to the city center where we will check into the hotel.

The rest of the day is free for you to rest. Welcome dinner at a city restaurant.

Hanoi – City Tour (B/L/D)

A day of in-depth discovery of Vietnam's capital, filled with timeless grace. We begin with a visit to the captivating Ethnographic Museum, which gathers costumes, tools, musical instruments, and displays some typical houses of Vietnam's 54 ethnic groups (closed every Monday).

We will then visit the Temple of Literature, which is "Vietnam's first university," and Hanoi's oldest Pagoda: Tran Quoc. Visit Ngoc Son temple on the shore of the central Hoan Kiem Lake.

A walk through the alleys of Hanoi's Old Quarter will allow you to fully grasp the local life of the capital.

In the evening, water puppet show.

Hanoi - Mai Chau (B/L/D)

Early departure for Mai Chau along a beautiful mountain road. Arrival at Van village, inhabited by White Thais, the representative ethnic group of the region, and meeting with Mr. Cuong's family who will warmly welcome you.

After a break, you will take a walk around the village to get a panoramic view of local life. You can also learn to weave silk with an old loom.

The entire afternoon is reserved for discovering the daily life of the inhabitants.

Dinner with the locals. Folk dance and music show in the evening. Tasting of straw wine (called "Can") made from fermented rice!

Mai Chau - Tam Coc (Halong Bay on land) (B/L/D)

In the morning, after breakfast with the locals, you will take the road from Mai Chau to Ninh Binh, passing through Nho Quan. Arrival in Tam Coc in the late morning (Location where scenes from the film Indochine were filmed).

Lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, a bamboo boat will take you on an unforgettable 2-hour ride through a natural landscape of karst mountains overlooking a sublime aquatic landscape. You will also discover that the region is dotted with caves… A spectacle that is both sublime and relaxing. Continuation of the itinerary with a visit to 2 temples dating from the 11th century dedicated to Kings Dinh and Le. The setting is enchanting and bucolic!

Tam Coc – Halong Bay (B/L/D)

Around 8:00 AM, we will take the road towards Ha Long Bay (Vinh Ha Long). The road will reveal a countryside landscape where rice fields predominate.

Arrival in Halong and immediate boarding of our junk for an exploration of the Bay. We visit caves during the cruise.

Seafood meals served by our excellent team.

Peaceful night aboard our comfortable junk in private cabins.

Halong Bay - Hanoi (B/L/D)

Visit the fishing village or Luon cave, before resuming the cruise in Halong Bay amidst countless islets. Around 11:30 AM, return to the pier then drive to Hanoi.

On the way, visit the Phu Lang ceramic village in Bac Ninh.

Arrival in Hanoi in the afternoon. Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi.

Hanoi - Luang Prabang (Laos) (B/L/D)

Breakfast at the hotel then transfer to the airport for the morning flight to Luang Prabang, the ancient and first capital of the Lane Xang kingdom and also the center of religious life for the Laotians.

The city is an enchantment and a haven of peace accentuated by its semi-colonial architecture, the surrounding tropical vegetation, and its extreme languor... Visit the most beautiful temples in the city and its surroundings (Wat Visoun, Wat Aham, Wat Xiengthong, Phousi Hill…).

Luang Prabang - Pak Ou - Luang Prabang (B/L/D)

Boat excursion upstream on the Mekong to visit the Pak Ou cave. Stop at the village of Ban Muangkeo, famous for its rice whiskey called Lao-Lao.

Lunch at a riverside restaurant.

Return to Luang Prabang in the afternoon, visit the village of Ban Xangkhong, specialized in paper and silk production.

Luang Prabang - Kuang Si Waterfall - Luang Prabang (B/L/D)

Departure for the Kuang Si Waterfall, amidst lush vegetation. Stop on the road to visit the Talad Phosy fruit market, the village of Ban Na Oune inhabited by Hmong and Ban Tha Pane by Kh'mu.

Picnic lunch near Kuang Xi waterfall.

Rest in nature. Possibility to swim in the water (quite cool). Return to Luang Prabang and visit the night ethnic market.

Luang Prabang - Siem Reap (Cambodia) (B/L/D)

In the morning, transfer to Luang Prabang airport for the flight to Siem Riap, the ancient capital of Cambodia, where we will discover the invaluable heritage of the Khmer Empire: the temples of the Roluos group (9th century), the ancient Hari Haralaya, the first Angkor about 20 km southeast of Siem Rep.

Apsara dinner at a local restaurant.

Siem Reap - Angkor Thom - Angkor Wat – Siem Reap (B/L/D)

In the morning, visit Angkor Thom (Great City) starting with the South Gate, the famous Bayon from the 12th & 13th centuries, Baphuon (11th century) dedicated to Brahmanism, the Terrace of the Elephants, the Terrace of the Leper King, Phimean Akas (celestial palace).

In the afternoon, discover the marvelous Angkor Wat temple, a World Heritage site, and Phnom Bakheng (mountain temple).

Siem Reap - Small Circuit - Grand Circuit – Siem Reap (B/L/D)

Breakfast, visit the temples included in the "Small Circuit" group: Ta Prohm, where gigantic trees dominate the monastery, trapping the ruins with their impressive roots like giant octopuses would with their tentacles to hold their prey.

Continue with a visit to Thommanon, Chau Say Teveda, Ta Keo, Banteay Kdei and Sras Srang terrace. 

Lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, visit the sites of the Eastern Baray of the "Grand Circuit": Pre Rup, Mebon, Tasom, Neak Pean, Prah Khan.

Siem Reap – Phnom Penh (B/L/D)

Drive towards Kompong Thom and direct transfer to Sambo Prey Kuh, the ancient capital before Angkor. This is a group of temples scattered in the forest.

Lunch in Kompong Thom.

Then drive to Phnom Penh, visiting along the way stone carving workshops, the temple of Kuha Nokor.

Arrival in the late afternoon.

Phnom Penh - Chau Doc (B/L/D)

In the morning, visit Phnom Penh including the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda, the National Museum, Wat Phnom.

In the afternoon, you take the speedboat to Chau Doc (Southern Vietnam) where you arrive in the late afternoon. Welcome in Chau Doc by the local Vietnamese guide and transfer to the hotel.

Chau Doc – Can Tho (B/L/D)

In the morning, you will sail to a village famous for raising fish under houses. The fish are in cages suspended under floating houses on the river.

Continue the journey with a visit to Cham minority houses. Visit Sam Mountain and admire canyons on the Cambodian border.

In the afternoon, drive to Can Tho, the metropolis of the Mekong Delta.

Can Tho - Saigon (B/L/D)

Early in the morning, we will take a boat to participate in the Cai Rang floating market, the largest and most lively floating market in the Mekong Delta. The setting is magnificent: hundreds of motor sampans filled with rice, fruits, and handicrafts gather there to trade and sell. We will leave the market, then visit the ancient house of Binh Thuy.

Back in Saigon we stop in Long An for a visit to the Long Dinh mat village. Return to Saigon.

Saigon – City Tour (B/L/D)

On this day, we will take a full city tour. We will start with the Cho Lon district to discover its old quarters, its market, the Thien Hau temple and the Giac Lam pagoda, one of the oldest pagodas in the city, its architecture, layout and decoration have remained almost intact since its construction in 1744!

Return to the city center to visit the Cathedral, the Central Post Office.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Independence Palace and we will end the day with the Ben Thanh market.

Free time for your shopping or your own discovery of the city before transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for your departure.
