Of Vietnamese origin, I have been living in France since 1976, where I arrived at the age of 13.
Today, I am married, a father of three children… and above all, a happy grandfather of four grandchildren.
I live in Charente-Maritime, but a part of my heart has always remained in Vietnam…
My return to the country in 2012 was a deeply moving moment… almost a rediscovery of my roots.
Since then, I return regularly (2014, 2015, 2017, 2019, 2023, …) always with the same pleasure… and the same emotion.
Over the years, I have traveled Vietnam from North to South, passing through the Center and the Central Highlands…, to Cambodia and Laos, ....and I have had the chance to organize several trips for relatives and friends.

Phnom Penh (Khmer: Krong Phnom Penh) is the capital of Cambodia, located in the southern half of the country, at the confluence of the Tonlé Sap and Mekong rivers. One million five hundred thousand Phnompenhois live on the 290 km² territory of the Phnom Penh municipality.
In der Monsunzone gelegen, genießt Vietnam von Norden nach Süden ein heißes und feuchtes Klima. Eine klimatische „Grenze“ scheint sich jedoch in der Nähe von Đà Nẵng zu befinden. So existiert der „Winter“ nur im Norden, jenseits des berühmten Wolkenpasses, während es im Süden fast immer heiß ist.
Der Ahnenkult: Er ist die älteste religiöse Praxis Vietnams, älter als Buddhismus und Konfuzianismus. Vietnamesen glauben, dass die Seelen ihrer Eltern nach deren Tod weiterleben und ihre Nachkommen beschützen.
Der vietnamesische Buddhismus: mit Abstand die größte Religion in Vietnam. Seine Ursprünge reichen bis ins 2. Jahrhundert n. Chr. zurück, als er in Vietnam eingeführt wurde. Trotz ihres Pazifismus und ihrer Feindseligkeit gegenüber der damaligen Regierung wurden viele Mönche nach dem kommunistischen Sieg von 1975 verhaftet und in „Umerziehungslagern“ deportiert. Mehrere Mönche sind bis heute inhaftiert. Die Unterdrückung geht weiter, auch wenn sie sich seit der Öffnung des Landes im Jahr 1992 gemildert hat...
