Volunteer in France

Hello,

My name is Thanh (Emile)…
Of Vietnamese origin, I have been living in France since 1976, where I arrived at the age of 13.

Today, I am married, a father of three children… and above all, a happy grandfather of four grandchildren.
I live in Charente-Maritime, but a part of my heart has always remained in Vietnam…

My return to the country in 2012 was a deeply moving moment… almost a rediscovery of my roots.
Since then, I return regularly (2014, 2015, 2017, 2019, 2023, …) always with the same pleasure… and the same emotion.

Over the years, I have traveled Vietnam from North to South, passing through the Center and the Central Highlands…, to Cambodia and Laos, ....and I have had the chance to organize several trips for relatives and friends.

Today, it is with sincerity and passion that I wish to accompany you in turn… to help you experience an authentic, simple… and unforgettable journey.

Despite their pacifism and hostility to the government of the time, many bonzes were arrested and deported to "re-education" camps after the communist victory in 1975. Several bonzes are still imprisoned today. The repression continues, even if it has softened since the country opened up in 1992...
