The concepts of marriage differ according to historical periods or regions of the country. The rites are also not the same for the 54 ethnic groups, given their cultures and lifestyles. Here, we attempt to present only the marriage of the Viet, the main ethnic group in the country (85%), which has been largely influenced by Chinese culture.
