Born to a Vietnamese father and a French mother, I discovered Vietnam for the first time in 1989 while producing a series of reports for European magazines, also an opportunity to meet my family living in Danang.

It was in 2016 that I returned to Vietnam for the second time for a 3-week trip to the north of the country.
Fascinated by the landscapes and the people I met, all I could think about was returning to discover the country and take photos there.

To do this, I organized a first photo workshop in 2017, for which I contacted Typic Travel for logistics and met Tien during this trip. His approach to travel and his philosophy of life are similar to mine. From this meeting, a friendship was born, and a desire to share something together.

 A second photo workshop in the Mekong Delta will be held in February 2018.

In the meantime, I voluntarily advise and help people in my region who wish to travel to Vietnam to organize their trip; I am their intermediary with Typic Travel.

I introduce myself as Mr. Thanh, originally from Vietnam. I came to France in 1976 at the age of 13... I am married, a father of 3 children and a grandfather of 4 grandchildren, residing in the Charente-Maritime region.

My first return to Vietnam was in 2012... It was an unforgettable moment... Then in 2014... 2015, 2017 and the years to come.

I have experience traveling in Vietnam from north to south, passing through the center and the highland regions, which I organized with friends. Today, I am happy to be at your disposal to inform, advise, and help you organize your trip as best as possible with the Typic Travel agency.

With my photography diploma in hand, I worked for 14 years as a scientific photographer. Today, I practice wedding photography, teach photography, and am a travel guide.

 

This last activity leads me to travel in Africa, on the American continent, as well as in Asia. In my spare time, I also practice oil painting.
