Hanoi arrival - visits and rest (L/D)

Arrival, welcome by the French-speaking guide team and driver, then direct transfer to the City Center for the first discoveries and visits in Hanoi city: the Temple of Literature and the West Lake area with Tran Quoc Pagoda and Quan Thanh Temple.

We continue with Hoan Kiem Lake - central lake with a visit to Ngoc Son Temple. Welcome lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon, free time to rest and stroll in Hanoi's Old Quarter. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight in Hanoi.

Hanoi - Ninh Binh (B/L/D)

Morning, visit the Presidential Quarter with a photo in front of Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum and a visit to the One Pillar Pagoda.

Departure for Ninh Binh (also known as "Ha Long Bay on land").

Arrival in Ninh Binh, direct transfer to Tho Ha village for lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon, sampan ride on the little-known site of Thung Nham and visit to the Thien Ha cave. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Tam Coc.

Ninh Binh - Nam Dinh (B/L/D)

In the morning, bike ride in the Ninh Binh countryside to visit Bich Dong Pagoda and Thai Vi Temple.

We take the road to Nam Dinh, visiting Vi Khe bonsai village
Visit to the rural museum (very interesting with old houses) + lunch on site.

Afternoon, stroll and visit churches on the Giao Thuy road.

Seafood and grilled fish BBQ dinner + overnight at a homestay.

Nam Dinh - Thai Binh (B/L/D)

In the morning, a bike ride to see the fish market, early for those who want (it's super nice, we leave around 5:30-6:00 AM in the dark, bring headlamps, and we arrive at the seaside where all the boats with their lights are unloading fish, then we go back for breakfast!).

Visit and stroll in Xuan Thuy Park to see many bird species.
Boat trip in the shellfish fields + rest and lunch in the middle cabin

Afternoon, on the way to Thai Binh via the Thai Binh River by the old ferry and visit to the hospital and orphanage. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight in Thai Binh

Thai Binh - Halong (B/L/D)

Departure for Halong via the Red River Delta and the outskirts of Hai Phong with stops along the road for photos.

Arrival in Halong, embarkation on a shared 3* junk for a 24-hour cruise in the bay.
Visit to the caves then activities according to the program displayed on the boat.

Seafood meal and overnight on board

Halong - Hanoi - Hue (B/L/D)

Breakfast on board and continuation of the cruise to admire the landscapes and take a stroll before vacating the cabin around 09:30 AM.

Brunch and disembarkation around 11:30 AM for the return to Hanoi.

We stop at But Thap village to visit the ancient brush pagoda.

Arrival in Hanoi, free time (the driver will keep your luggage in his car) and then dinner at a local restaurant before transfer to the station around 8 PM for the overnight train to Hue. Sleeper train | Private 4-bed cabin.

Hue - visits (B/L/D)

Arrival in Hue, welcome by the guide and driver for transfer to the hotel to drop off your belongings (the room is only available around 12 PM).

A day of visits to the city of Hue with sites according to your wishes.
Bike ride to Thuy Bieu village (new typical village discovered during our scouting) activities and meal at a local's home.

Return to the city to visit the Imperial City (Dai Noi) with its enclosures.

Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight in Hue.

Hue - Hai Van Pass - Hoi An/visits (B/L/D)

In the morning, on the way to Hoi An via Hai Van Pass with photo stops and visits along the road.

Arrival in Hoi An, lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon, visit to the silk house and the Old Town of Hoi An with essential sites: Ancient Vietnamese House Tan Ky, Chinese Congregation House, Japanese Covered Bridge, fish market.

Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight in Hoi An.

Hoi An/visits + beach (B/L/D)

Morning, a round basket boat and bike ride to the islands and village on the outskirts of Hoi An to discover the off-the-beaten-path area of Hoi An.

Relaxation with a 15-minute foot massage at a local's home, followed by a short cooking class + lunch at a local's home.

In the afternoon, return to the city and then free time at the beach.

Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight in Hoi An.

Hoi An - Danang – Saigon (B/L/D)

In the morning, transfer to Danang airport for the flight to Saigon.

Arrival in Saigon, welcome by the Saigon team, then transfer to the city center for sightseeing and lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, visit two different districts: Cho Lon (Chinese) District with the Thien Hau pagoda and the Binh Tay wholesale market.

Visit the Western Quarter with Notre Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office, the City Hall, the opera house, and a stroll along Ex-Catinat street.

Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight in Saigon.

Saigon - Mekong - Can Tho (B/L/D)

In the morning, depart for the Mekong for a 2-day, one-night tour.

Arrival in Cai Be, embark on a private sampan for excursions in the arroyos and crossing the Cai Be floating market, then we visit local manufactures: puffed rice candy and caramel candy. Lunch at a local's home.

Continue the boat cruise towards Vinh Long with fruit tasting on board. Disembark in Vinh Long and then head to Can Tho.

Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight in Can Tho.

Can Tho - Saigon (B/L/D)

Early in the morning, we take a sampan to visit the Cai Rang floating market - the most authentic in the region.
Visit the ecological garden with exotic fruit trees + Tasting of these fruits on site.

Disembark and then return to Saigon with a stop in the city of Sadec - known for Marguerite DURAS + visit of this city: L'Amant house, Mr. Quach Pagoda, local market Lunch at L'Amant house. Direct return to Saigon. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight in Saigon.

Saigon - departure (B/L)

For Madame: The cooking class guide will pick you up to start her cooking class at the restaurant with a professional chef to learn how to prepare a 4-dish meal.

For Monsieur and his son: while Madame is taking her cooking class, you will be with our guide to visit the Ngoc Hoang pagoda and then the Independence Palace inside.

At noon, you will all eat together at the restaurant where Madame is taking the cooking class.

Free time and then transfer to Saigon airport for the return flight.
