Hanoi arrival - visits (D)

Welcome at the airport and transfer to the hotel (Rooms are available around noon).

Discovery of the capital of Hanoi: cyclo-pousse ride for one hour through the old town (the old quarter of 36 guilds – 36 corporations), visit of the Ngoc Son temple on Hoan Kiem Lake – a small central lake of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the One Pillar Pagoda. Evening water puppet show.

Welcome dinner in a local restaurant in the city. Overnight in Hanoi

Hanoi - Halong Bay (B/L/D)

En route to Ha Long Bay, we will cross the traditional Vietnamese countryside, with its villages, markets, rice fields, all animated by the daily life of the peasants.
 
Arrival in Ha Long around noon, embarkation on a boat for a 24-hour cruise in Along Bay. 
 
Seafood lunch on board the boat. An extraordinary landscape, "one of the wonders of the world", nearly three thousand islets and limestone peaks with fantastic shapes: turtles, sampan sails, etc... scattered in the emerald water over an area of more than 1,500 km².
 
Stop at the "Surprise" cave, we are projected into a mysterious atmosphere amidst thousands of stalagmites and stalactites. We will gain height with the ascent of the summit of Titov islet to enjoy its panoramic view. Possibility to go to the beach for swimming if time permits.
 
Relaxation at the end of the day enjoying the sunset on board.

Seafood dinner and overnight on board.

Halong Bay - Hue (B/L)

For those who wish, you can practice Tai Chi in the morning, with traditional teachers.

Breakfast, then continuation of the cruise in the bay passing through very beautiful places before lunch.

After lunch on board, we disembark, then head to the airport for the flight to Hue.

Several stops during this transfer, including: visit of a ceramic workshop and a training school for all traditional Vietnamese crafts.

Arrival in Hue, welcome by the guide and driver and transfer to the hotel. 

Dinner in a local restaurant and overnight in Hue.

Hue Visits - Hai Van Pass - Hoi An (B/L)

Breakfast at the hotel and then visits and discovery of the citadel of the Viets under the reign of the Nguyen dynasty: The "Vauban-style" citadel with its 3 surrounding walls: Citadel, Imperial City and the Forbidden Purple City. A beautiful example of the extension of Vietnam's power to the South... 
Short one-hour cruise on the Perfume River followed by a visit to the Thien Mu Pagoda located on the river bank.
 
Lunch in a typical restaurant in the city and then we will take the road south towards Hoi An passing through the Hai Van Pass from where we enjoy a very beautiful view of Da Nang and its coastline (South China Sea).
 
Stop along the way to visit the Cham art and culture museum in Da Nang with its famous collection of Hindu-influenced art. We continue towards Hoi An. 
Dinner in a local restaurant in the city and overnight in Hoi An.

Hoi An visits + walks - Free beach (B/L)

After breakfast at the hotel, we will visit and discover the ancient city of Hoi An (a very lively commercial port in the middle of Indochina in the 16th century) with its typical monuments presenting three main cultures: Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese, notably: Chinese communal house, the covered market, the Japanese covered bridge and a traditional Vietnamese house. Cruise on the Hoai River to admire the sunset.

Lunch in the city and free time for your shopping and you can also take the opportunity to relax at the beach.

Dinner in a local restaurant in the city and overnight in Hoi An.

Hoi An - Da Nang - Mekong - Saigon (B/L)

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for the flight to Saigon.
 
Arrival in Saigon, welcome by your guide and driver; en route for an excursion to the Mekong Delta (Ben Tre – a region well known for its coconut trees) then we will visit local workshops such as: making puffed rice candies, rice cakes, caramel candies or conical hats. A short sampan ride in the arroyos will surely transport you!
Lunch of local specialties. Tasting the famous Elephant Ear Fish while listening to Don Ca Tai Tu will undoubtedly remain in your memories...
Disembarkation and we take the road to Saigon. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight in Saigon.

Saigon visits - departure (B/L)

After breakfast at the hotel, short city tours: Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office and City Hall, Reunification Palace from the outside and Cho Lon Chinese quarter with Thien Hau Pagoda + Binh Tay wholesale market to discover the country's largest commercial and economic city.

The rest of the time is free for your shopping and then transfer to the airport for your return flight.
