Vietnam in October: Exploring the Golden Rice Terraces of Mu Cang Chai
The best seasons to visit Mu Cang Chai are in October-November, before the harvests. At that time, Mu Cang Chai is covered in the golden color of rice and the climate is very favorable for travel. A large number of visitors are attracted by the beauty of Mù Cang Chai's terraced rice fields.
Mu Cang Chai is located 180 kilometers from Yen Bai city. Mu Cang Chai is famous for its many dangerous roads that stretch for tens of kilometers of endless and pristine landscapes, its majestic mountains and its peaceful and poetic image of ethnic houses covered with terraced fields. Every October, the terraced fields turn from green to yellow as the rice ripens. The best seasons to visit Mu Cang Chai are late September - early October, before the harvests.

Where to stay between Nghia Lo - Tu Le - Mu Cang Chai?
Le Champ Tu Le is my favorite. It includes an eco-style complex, all rooms and utensils are made of bamboo or wood, a beautiful space with many trees and flowers. The hotel has 4 types of rooms, arranged in a descending style, creating all rooms with aerial views. All rooms have a large private balcony, with a large sofa outside the balcony for guests to relax and enjoy the view. The bathroom and toilet in each room are private.

The swimming pool with mountain views and rice field frontage are very beautiful, the water is always heated by electricity. You can relax after a long day of walking in a foot bath using naturally heated spring water.
In addition, the Onsen area has some rooms with smaller baths in a bamboo house if guests prefer privacy (couple or family).

The restaurant serves traditional Vietnamese dishes made from local products: black chicken, mock tree mannequin,... Dishes prepared right next to the dining room must be hot. Enjoying delicious dishes while admiring nature is an experience you will never forget.
When you stay at the hotel, you can participate in these activities and go hiking/trekking to visit the following attractions: Tien Nu Cave, Phạ Trên village (White Thai people) and Búng Sổm (White Thai people), and Lìm Thai village, Lìm Mông village, Tú Lệ.
