Hanoi International Airport (Noi Bai) – code HAN

Noi Bai International Airport is one of the most important and largest airports in Vietnam, located in the Northern region. Where is it located?

Approximately 35 km from the center of Hanoi, Noi Bai Airport is located in Phu Minh commune, Soc Son district. With an area of up to 1,000 hectares, it is the main international gateway to the capital and the entire country.

The Noi Bai Airport plan includes two main terminals: the old T1 terminal and the new T2 terminal. Terminal T1 is generally used for domestic flights, while Terminal T2 is intended for international flights.

Noi Bai Airport can currently accommodate up to 30 million passengers per year and plans to increase its capacity to 60 million passengers by 2030.

Ho Chi Minh City International Airport (Tan Son Nhat) – code SGN

Tan Son Nhat Airport, with a total area of over 1,500 hectares, is considered the largest airport in Vietnam. It can currently accommodate up to 28 million passengers per year and is often saturated during peak hours.

The new terminal at Tan Son Nhat Airport is the T3 domestic passenger terminal, officially operational since the peak period of April 30 to May 1, 2025, to accommodate domestic flights, mainly those of Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet Air. This terminal is located approximately 1 km from terminals T1 and T2 by road and has an entrance on lines 18E and C2.

Tan Son Nhat Airport includes a domestic and international terminal fully equipped with modern facilities and equipment to meet the needs of the majority of passengers.
