While Mai Chau is pleasant all year round, the ideal times to visit are spring, from February to May, and autumn, from October to November. How to get there?

From Hanoi, several options are available to reach Mai Chau, for a journey of approximately 3h30 to 4h. Typic Travel advisors will be happy to organize your transfer in the best conditions.

The local bus from My Dinh bus station (departures at 6 am and 2 pm, 120,000 VND or 4.5€) is an economical option. For more comfort, opt for a private car transfer with a driver (from 1,200,000 VND or about 45€). The more adventurous can choose a motorbike, for a memorable arrival!

The journey is already an experience in itself, especially when crossing the Thung Khe pass. After an hour of dizzying winding roads offering a panoramic view of the karst mountains, you gently glide into the Mai Chau valley.
