Avoid the period from May to October, which corresponds to the rainy season. Showers are frequent, humidity is high, and temperatures often exceed 30°C.

How to get there?

From Hanoi, it takes about 2 hours by road to reach Ninh Binh (100km). Several options are available to you:

• The private car with driver is the most comfortable option, costing between 50 and 80€ depending on the type of vehicle.
• The train is a picturesque option, the landscapes are superb! Allow 2h30 of travel for 3 to 6€ depending on the class. Book in advance.
